Clerkship Director of the Year for the College of Medicine

Daniel Martinez-Ramirez MD of the Department of Neurology last night was awarded the Clerkship Director of the Year for the College of Medicine.  Daniel has inspired the next generation of medical students and future neurology residents and he exudes the passion of a great teacher and a committed leader.  This is a remarkable accomplishment and he achieved it in only his second year as a clerkship director.  Please join us in congratulating Daniel for showing us what it means to be a mentor-leader and for spreading the passion for neurology to our medical students.  The award is named after the late Ken Kellner, a friend to neurology, and one of the college’s finest former clerkship directors.  Ken recently passed away, and his wife Irene presented the award last night.
