The UF Health Comprehensive Stroke team was officially recognized by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association with the highest designation that can be achieved – Stroke Gold Plus and Honor Roll Elite!
- Target: Stroke Honor Roll-Elite Plus: Time to thrombolytic therapy within 60 minutes in 75 percent or more of acute ischemic stroke patients treated with IV tPA AND time to thrombolytic therapy within 45 minutes in 50 percent of acute ischemic stroke patients treated with IV tPA (current criteria and same volume thresholds).
Additionally, there was multi-disciplinary team recognition for fastest Door-to-Needle time or fastest Door-to-Groin time. Award-winning team members from the Department of Neurology included:
