Neal Weisbrod, MD
Neal focuses on several areas of neurology. He cares for patients with neurological diseases admitted to the hospital and works to guide them through that vulnerable experience. Additionally, in the outpatient setting he sees patients and families with neurodegenerative diseases and memory disorders. As a palliative care specialist he endeavors to apply expert-level symptom management and communication to all realms of neurology.
Neal’s teaching interests revolve around developing a primary palliative care curriculum for the neurology residency. While working with medical students he hopes to spark a love for the fields of neurology and palliative care. Additionally, he aims to collaborate with residents and medical students to develop self-care habits to prevent burnout and promote empathic patient care.
