Please join us in congratulating our residents & faculty that have had submissions accepted to the American Academy of Neurology’s Annual Meeting being held in Vancouver, BC April 16 through 21, 2016.  Many abstracts get submitted for presentation, but only small percentages are accepted.  We are very proud of our residents & faculty!
 
Dr. Jillian Grayson’s abstract “Hemidiaphragmatic Paralysis: A Rare Complication of VZV” has been accepted for a poster presentation.  Presentation will take place on April 16 from 5:30pm to 7pm.
 
Dr. Swetha Renati, Dr. Cui Yang, & Dr. Anna Khanna’s abstract “Brain and Spinal Cord Infarcts Secondary to an Atrial-Esophageal Fistula.” has been accepted for a poster presentation.  Presentation will take place on April 21 from 4pm to 5:30pm.
 
Dr. Cui Yang’s abstract “A Blood and CSF Biomarker of Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Outcome and Progression” has been accepted for a poster presentation.  Presentation will take place on April 16 from 5:30pm to 7pm.
 
Dr. Anastasia Bohsali’s abstract “Structural Connectivity of Broca’s Region” has been accepted for dual presentation. Presentations will take place on April 18 from 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm and April 19 from 8:30 am – 7:00 pm.
 
If you have had an abstract accepted and would like us to share the news, please e-mail Allison Beal so we can include in next week’s neurotransmitter.

Re:               Electronic Mail Policy
 
The Electronic Mail Policy can be found at:  http://www.it.ufl.edu/policies/email/policy-electronic-mail/
 
This policy provides guidance on the use of electronic mail used in the course of conducting university business. This includes:
 
·       University of Florida electronic mail may not be automatically forwarded to a non-university provided or approved service.
·       University of Florida business must be conducted using an assigned ufl.edu email address.
·       Emails on the university mail system have the following default retention settings:
o   Inbox and Sent Items:   3 years from creation or receipt
o   Deleted Items:  Purged after 30 days
It also places responsibility on faculty and staff for compliance with this policy.
