Congratulations Dr. Christina Wilson!

The UF Department of Neurology is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Christina Wilson to the position of Associate Chair of Education.

Dr. Wilson joined the Department of Neurology as a vascular neurologist in 2013 after completing medical school, residency, and fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania. She has served as the Neurology Residency Program Director since 2015 and Vascular Neurology Fellowship Director since 2016. During her tenure as residency director, the program has increased in both size and national visibility, and is currently ranked #17 nationally and #4 among public institutions. She will continue in both of these roles.

As Associate Chair of Education, Christina will focus on further strengthening our departmental educational programs and aligning them with a central vision to provide the strongest neurological education across a complete spectrum including undergraduates, medical students, residents, fellows and graduate students. In particular, she will strive to increase the number of UF medical students interested in pursuing a career in the field of neurology as well as work to raise the national and regional visibility of our educational programs.
