Huntington Disease Center of Excellence receives $20,000 for 2019

The Huntington’s Disease Society of America and its Center Programs and Education Advisory Committee provided a grant of $20,000 to the Level 2 Huntington’s Disease Society of America Center of Excellence here at the University of Florida to help offset the costs associated with the provision of the Huntington’s Disease services in central Florida and the surrounding area.  This money will be used as we re-dedicate our efforts and plan for continued expansion with the new Fixel Institute for Neurological Disorders. Our goal is to expand research, add neuropsychology, neurogenetics, and more support for children and families affected by Huntington’s Disease.
