Congratulations to Dr. Kenneth Heilman on the publication of two chapters; Brain Aging and Creativity and Changes in Emotion and Mood with Aging. Both are found in Cognitive Changes of the Aging Brain, published by Cambridge University Press and available at Amazon.com.
One of the greatest of human gifts is our creative ability. Not only does scientific and artistic creativity help to improve our quality of life, but creativity often provides great joys to the person performing creatively and those who read, view, and listen to creative works. As Dietrich and Kanso state, “to study creative ideas, and how and where they arise in the brain, is to approach a defining element of what makes us human”.
