Since 2006, FCBTR has been funding competitive pilot research projects for cutting edge scientific proposals, which hope to lead the way to discovery of brain tumor cures and the development of improved brain tumor treatment modalities.

A total of $250,00 will be divided into 2-4 separate, one year pilot study awards. The awards will be based on the quality of applications, funding and review panel decisions. The awards are limited to brain tumor scientists in the State of Florida only. Proposals may be basic science, translational, or clinical and should be designed to move the discovery of treatments and cures for brain tumors forward.
