Celebrating teaching excellence

Faculty was recognized at 22nd annual Celebration of Excellence in Medical Education

Faculty were invited to reflect on their teaching accomplishments and their dedication to shaping the next generation of health care professionals at the UF College of Medicine’s 22nd annual Celebration of Excellence in Medical Education awards reception March 15.

Hosted by the Society of Teaching Scholars at the George T. Harrell, M.D., Medical Education Building, the event opened with remarks from Dean Colleen Koch, M.D., M.S., M.B.A., followed by a presentation of awards to a handful of students and dozens of faculty members at the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville and Jacksonville and a recognition of new inductees to the society.

Congratulations to our own, Dr. Nicholas Nelson for the receipt of a 2022 Society of Teaching Scholars Outstanding Resident Educator Award!
