We’re proud to share that Dr. Abbas Babajani-Feremi has been appointed by the Dean’s Office to serve as one of the three College of Medicine Scientific Review Committee (SRC) co-chairs, representing Basic, Clinical, and Data Sciences. The Scientific Review Committee (SRC) oversees the scientific review of biomedical research awards in the College. Faculty subject matter experts review proposals, facilitating the selection of innovative, collaborative, and scientifically sound studies with high potential to generate additional extramural funding.
In this important leadership role, Dr. Babajani-Feremi will help guide the review and advancement of innovative research proposals across the College — fostering excellence, collaboration, and scientific rigor.
