Alumni Reception
The AAN Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of neurologists in the world, drawing tens of thousands of clinicians, researchers, and trainees each year. It serves as the primary venue for presenting new research, sharing advances in clinical care, and shaping the direction of the field. This year’s annual meeting was held on April 18-22 in Chicago. During the event the department also hosted its annual UF Neurology Alumni Reception, bringing together current and former faculty, residents, fellows, and friends of the program.
“The AAN meeting is always a reminder of how far-reaching our UF Neurology family is. It is one of my favorite events of the year – seeing former residents and fellows who are now leading programs, running labs, and taking care of patients across the country. That connection doesn’t end at graduation, and evenings like this are what keep it strong,” said Michael Jaffee, MD, chair of the UF College of Medicine Department of Neurology
