World Alzheimer’s Month

September is World Alzheimer’s Month, a time to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and the millions of people and families affected by it. On Sept. 21, World Alzheimer’s Day, we’ll join the global effort to increase understanding, challenge stigma and highlight the importance of brain health and dementia care.

How to Participate

  • Wear Purple: Display a purple ribbon or bracelet to show support.
  • Get Involved: Join local memory walks, educational events, or fundraisers hosted by organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association.
  • Share Information: Talk openly about dementia to reduce social stigma and encourage early diagnosis.
