Welcome to the Division of Epilepsy in the Department of Neurology! We are part of a thriving academic clinical department at the University of Florida College of Medicine that comprises over 50 neurologists involved in patient care, research and teaching. Our group of five full-time faculty members and three part-time faculty is supported by two full-time advanced practice registered nurses, a nurse navigator, a nurse specialist, and a host of administrative, technical and research staff.
Our clinical mission is to provide exemplary and humane patient care through professional excellence and superior logistics. Our larger vision is to lead the State of Florida in providing top-tier comprehensive epilepsy care backed by the best technology, offer outstanding postgraduate education to residents and fellows, pursue epilepsy-related research that pushes the boundaries of brain science, and contribute our citizenship to the wider epilepsy community. We are proud to belong to the #1 institution of higher learning in the State and privileged to practice at a nationally ranked hospital system (US World and News Report, 2025).
