Our fellowships!
The fellow will receive the training necessary to develop the skills essential to the performance of Neuromuscular Medicine. This training includes many opportunities to observe, evaluate, and manage inpatients and outpatients of all ages with a wide variety of disorders of the neuromuscular system and perform numerous electrodiagnostic evaluations. Training includes direct patient care at both adult and pediatric at our various neuromuscular clinics.
Our Fellowship Program is focused on excellence in clinical care with integration of research activities, formal and informal didactics, and fellow as teacher. As a Fellow, you will have both outpatient and inpatient experience. You will care for patients with primary headache disorders, including migraine and cluster headache, secondary headache disorders and facial pain. You will have the opportunity to see patients in a multidisciplinary concussion clinic.
The Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship at UF provides one year of advanced training in the diagnosis, treatment and clinical research of patients with MS and related immune-mediated disorders of the central nervous system (CNS). A second year of fellowship may be considered depending on the applicant’s clinical and research interests and long-term career goals.
