Approximately 20-25% of adults and children have sleep disordered signs and symptoms. There have been tremendous advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related disorders in recent decades. The physicians of the Shands Sleep Disorders Center at Magnolia Park provide a multidisciplinary approach to these disorders including faculty from the Department of Neurology, Pulmonary Medicine, Pediatric Pulmonary, Otolaryngology, and Clinical Psychology. The Shands Sleep Disorders Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). It is the only accredited AASM center in North Central Florida.
