About Amin Abolfazli

Dr. Amin Abolfazli completed an intensive, high-volume residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System—a multisite program spanning Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Hospital, and the Miami VA—where he was appointed PGY-4 Chief of Service. A dedicated educator and quality-improvement leader, Dr. Abolfazli has developed didactic curricula—scheduling uninterrupted weekly teaching sessions, designing interactive competitions, and establishing an online Neuro Library for trainees—some while served as medical student and sub-internship coordinator.

Dr. Abolfazli holds an M.S. in Engineering Management from California Polytechnic State University, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology—the premier engineering institution in Iran. He also achieved a High School Diploma from the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET), a highly selective program . He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, and serves on the board of the Florida Society of Neurology .

Amin lives with his wife, Linda, and their two young sons, Ryan and Macan, and values family road trips and weekend beach days together. He also enjoys cruising on his motorcycle—having explored Southern California in his Silverado and the island of Dominica on his scooter—playing ping pong and volleyball since high school, training therapy dogs like his certified Labrador retriever, Cadi, and camping under the night sky. Amin cherishes quality time with his two young sons (ages 4 and 1), from park adventures and museum visits to reading stories, exploring educational apps, watching family-friendly movies, sharing meals, photography to capture precious moments, and gardening together to nurture their love of nature
