About Camila Guerrero
Camila is a neurocritical care research scholar at the University of Florida and a proud double Gator, having completed both her undergraduate and master’s degrees at UF. She is passionate about neurology, with a particular interest in pediatric neurocritical care and the innovative treatments of various complex conditions. As a Hispanic female in medicine, she is deeply committed to advancing diversity and representation in the field. Outside of her academic pursuits, she is an active volunteer with Camp Boggy Creek, a year-round medical camp that provides unforgettable experiences to children with serious illnesses and their families—work that fuels her dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care. Her hobbies include running, yoga, golf, attending concerts and sporting events, playing pickleball, traveling and cooking.
