About Wei Hu

Dr. Wei Hu was graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University Medical School and obtained his doctoral degree from Heinrich Heine University of Dusseldorf, Germany. He received clinical-research training at Neurology Department at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and the University of Florida. Dr. Hu is the recipient of a Harvard Medical School-Partners Fellow scholarship and a coveted clinical-research training award from the American Brain Foundation/American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Hu is an Assistant Professor in the Movement Disorders & Neurorestoration division, Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases. He is interested in Parkinson disease, dystonia, Tourette syndrome, telemedicine, and neuromodulation techniques such as deep brain stimulation (DBS) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
