Parker D Hughes, DO

Parker Hughes is a Fellow Physician in the Neurocritical Care Division of the Department of Neurology at the University of Florida.

Originally from Weber County, Utah, Dr. Hughes earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Weber State University. He earned his medical degree at the Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Prior to moving to Florida, he completed his Neurology Residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he served as an Academic Chief Resident.

Dr. Hughes has professional interests in critical care, acute neuromedicine, traumatic brain injury, and vascular neurology.

Outside of the hospital, he can be found in the outdoors alongside his wife and Shetland Sheepdogs.
