About Thomas B Ladd
Tom spent the early part of his career working as a biochemist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville conducting AD research with a focus on the amyloid hypothesis. His areas of expertise include novel assay development, protein interaction biochemistry, and all things mAb. In 2010, he moved with the lab to UF to help start the Center for Translational Research in Neurodegenerative Disease (CTRND) where he worked for 12 years. In recent years, he concentrated his efforts on research and development of monoclonal antibodies as therapeutics for disease.
His interests include family, pets, cooking, literature, camping, travel, auto mechanics and the beach.
