About Jeremy C Latimer
Dr. Latimer is an ABIM certified Internal Medicine physician who joins the UF Neurocritical Care Fellowship program after working as a hospitalist in rural South Georgia from 2015-2019. His decision to pursue training in neurocritical care began three years ago when he began independently researching anoxic brain injury after an experience with a patient who unexpectedly avoided neurologic injury following a prolonged cardiac arrest. He is a happily married father of two beautiful children, who enjoys spending time with his family. He is well known for his thorough approach to clinical problems, and he enjoys attending to the needs of patients and families during times of critical illness. He is a life-long Gator who returns to Gainesville after a 12 year hiatus, and he is glad to be back at UF and to be joining the neurocritical care team.
