About Luciola Martins Frota

Lucíola is a medical doctor from Brazil. She graduated from the University of Fortaleza, located in a warm city in the northeast of Brazil. She also studied at Monash University in Australia as an exchange student during her medical graduation, where she had her first contact with research. She aspires to become a neurologist and a professor in the future. She is now a research scholar in the neurocritical care department at UF.

Her interests include the study of epileptic and neurovascular disorders, as well as the treatment of critically ill patients. Her hobbies include reading fiction books, playing video games and board games, dancing, and having fun with her family and friends.
