About Hector David Meza Comparan

Dr. Meza Comparan received his medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the largest university in Latin America. While attending medical school, he discovered his passion for research and has actively participated in observational studies and clinical trials since then. He has co-authored several publications and has peer-reviewed more than 30 articles.

A medical education enthusiast, he has lectured on research methodology to medical students. In 2022, he received the Youth Award in his home state of Tabasco, Mexico, in recognition of his outstanding academic performance. A compassionate, knowledge-driven, and caring physician, Dr. Meza Comparan’s areas of interest include neurocritical care, neuroimmunology, neuromonitoring, neuroprognostication, CNS infections, and vascular neurology. In his free time, he enjoys playing music, singing, brewing coffee, and watching TV series and films.
