Caleb Rios

My name is Caleb Rios, and I serve as a Research Administrator within the Neurology Department while pursuing my studies in computer science at Santa Fe College. In my role, I support the operational and administrative processes that enable neurological research to move forward efficiently and effectively. I was born in Hawaii at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children, the same hospital where Barack Obama was born. I spent part of my childhood in rural Florida before living in Brazil for ten years. Growing up across different cultures has shaped my adaptability, broadened my perspective, and strengthened my ability to work within diverse teams and environments. With a background in computer science, I am particularly interested in how structured systems, data organization, and technological infrastructure can enhance research efficiency and support advancements in neurological care. I am passionate about understanding how well-designed systems, both technical and administrative can facilitate innovation and ultimately improve patient outcomes. In the long term, I hope to combine my interests in systems design, investing, and entrepreneurship to build solutions that create meaningful impact in healthcare and beyond. Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I enjoy biking and photography, which allow me to explore new perspectives and environments.
