About Neal Weisbrod

I am a clinician educator with a focus on inpatient neurology and palliative care. I trained at the University of Rochester for undergraduate education, medical school, and neurology residency. During my neurology residency, I developed a passion for high-quality doctor-family communication in serious illnesses, I went on to complete a fellowship in palliative care at the University of California. My clinical focuses are neurohospitalist and palliative care consult practice.

In the realm of education, I enjoy teaching neurological localization and diagnostic decision making in addition to equipping trainees with the skills to navigate challenging conversations about serious illness and effectively manage symptoms at all stages of illness.
