About Becky L Wichman
Becky has worked at UF for 29 years. She started with IFAS conducting plant breeding and pathology research on watermelon and grapes. She moved to Gainesville and joined the College of Medicine Molecular Genetic and Microbiology department. She helped to put together the Human Applications Lab, which was the first cGMP facility on the main campus to produce phase I clinical drugs for human gene therapy research. She has worked for CTSI, RAC/OCR and most recently IRB-01. She enjoys gardening and attending gator sports like football, gymnastics and volleyball with her family. She is currently in her fifth year and serves as the Assistant scorekeeper for UF Women’s volleyball.
