UF Health first in U.S. to implant new, advanced deep brain stimulation system

An advanced deep brain stimulation system that can more precisely target motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders has been implanted in a patient by University of Florida Health neurosurgeons and neurologists.
