Through flexible and innovative education in our busy Comprehensive Stroke Center, the mission of our program is to train vascular neurologists who are well-prepared for their desired future careers, whether as a clinical vascular neurologist, research-focused academician who will advance the science of stroke care, or neurohospitalist.
The overall aims of the program are as follows:
- To provide excellent clinical training in vascular neurology, with 100% of our graduates passing the vascular neurology boards.
- To provide diverse and flexible rotation options individually tailored to the fellow’s interests, including an optional second year focused on research.
- To remain a leading vascular neurology fellowship program despite an increasingly competitive market for fellowship applicants.
