Congratulations Zach Newcomer on receiving this year’s Stroke Resident of The Year Award!! This award is a huge honor because the awardee is selected by numerous members of the interdisciplinary stroke committee which has representatives from nursing, ED, rehab and faculty. The selected resident is someone who demonstrates commitment, humanism, compassion and resilience. Zach possessed all those attributes and more. We are all grateful for Zach’s commitment and his relentless drive to help heal stroke patients. He serves as a role model for residents to come. We wish him luck in his future endeavors, he will be truly missed.
